What is stopping your run?

Pick the failure you can see. We’ll route you to the smallest useful answer.

The connected system

One run. Two decks. Three pressures.

Your strongest choice is the one that connects exploration, combat and recovery.

First useful lesson

Rest is not a pause button.

It redraws your hand while Gloom rises. The cleaner hand can carry a real health cost.

  • Check the Gloom threshold first

Built for a changing game

Useful now. Honest about what changes next.

The game is still pre-release. Official store facts establish the release status, while gameplay observations stay tied to the demo or build where they were seen. Approximate card totals remain approximate.

Four useful boundaries

Know what kind of answer you need.

Shroom and Gloom connects route choices, combat cards, food, recovery and rising Gloom. A useful guide keeps those systems connected without pretending every number is permanent before Early Access.

Is this a complete card database?

No. The official description says each pathway can contain roughly 300 Explore and Combat cards, but that is not a verified global card count. The card guide teaches repeatable evaluation—deck, timing, immediate job and next threat—until a current-build card set can be maintained accurately.

Can demo advice be used after launch?

Use it as a starting model, not a promise. The demo establishes the two-deck loop, camp actions and the relationship between exploration resources and survival. Exact card text, routes, encounter behavior and save rules may change when the Early Access build arrives.

What should I check before a boss?

Start before the boss room. Inspect the next threat, remove or avoid weak combat draws, make sure the deck has a defensive floor, and carry a repeatable way to finish. If food is available, price roasting, eating and resting against the Gloom pressure you already have.

Where should a technical problem go?

Use the issues guide to separate a rules misunderstanding from a technical fault. Record the build, room, platform and smallest repeatable action sequence. Protect the current save before changing files or sync state, then change one variable at a time.
